The stage is set for the first rehearsal...............

The stage is all set for our first NYC/Carnegie Hall Tour rehearsals which take place Tuesday, January 20, 2015.  Wind Ensemble will rehearse in the band room and Wind Symphony will rehearse on the stage.  SPECIAL NOTE:  For this tour, Wind Symphony is made up of students from Concert Band, Symphonic Band and Wind Symphony.

REHEARSAL GOAL:  Get the "big picture" on all 5 concert pieces.  This group only has 6 hours of rehearsal time together before tour, so every single moment matters.  Thanks for coming to rehearsal with your binders prepared and ready.  Two "new" things will be on your chair for your binder - a group warm-up sheet and a new ending to West Side Story.

REHEARSAL GOAL:  Working with the GBQ and Don Owens, students will understand how all three sections of the commissioned piece fit together with the brass quintet.
