WIND SYMPHONY
Rehearsal is on the auditorium stage from 6:30-8:30 PM. All music must be in a black binder for this rehearsal. EVERY PLAYER must have their music in a binder. If you have mis-placed the hard copies of your music, access the files on the blog to re-print your parts.
Because Wind Symphony is a conglomerate group and does not rehearse during the school day, it is essential that every single student attend every rehearsal.
WIND ENSEMBLE
Rehearsal is in the band room from 7:00-9:00 PM. This rehearsal is with the Gaudete Brass Quintet to work on the Don Owens commission.
Performing in Carnegie Hall is synonomous in American culture with having "made it" as a musician.
This experience is quite literally a singularly unique opportunity for a performing musician in the course of a lifetime. Thanks in advance for demonstrating your comprehension of this concept by attending rehearsal with your already practiced parts in a binder. NOTE: Wind Ensemble students do not need a binder, just Wind Symphony.
